I'm excited to share some music-themed gift guides with you.  All links are affiliate links, which means I earn a small commission if you make a purchase from a link.  See my disclosure policy for more information.  The "Four-Gift Rule" Last year, my husband and I started using the "four-gift rule" for Christmas with our family.  The process is simple and looks something like this. First, we start with four categories: >> something you want >> something you need >> something to wear >> something to read Then we choose one gift from each category to give to each other and our children, plus stockings.  That's it!  The "four-gift rule" has been an easy way to simplify shopping and decision-making.  It's been especially helpful because our children have seven grandparents and several aunts and uncles--lots of gifts come our way this time of year!  At the s

I’m teaching piano and wind lessons! I've  moved from a school setting to teaching privately.  I’ve been playing for over 20 years, teaching lessons for 13, and have Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music Education. I believe we all learn differently and that we all have the potential to be musical. I teach anyone ages four and up and enjoy them all. All first-timers get a free lesson and you get a (second) free lesson when someone you recommend registers for lessons. Send me an email to schedule a time to come check it out! -Kaylee

WHAT PARENTS AND STUDENTS ARE SAYING

"My daughter is 6 years old and this was her first year at taking piano lessons. Ms. Kaylee made it fun and educational! My daughter enjoyed her lessons and learned more than I thought in just one year! I would recommend So La Mi Music to anyone who wants a hands on approach and a teacher who genuinely cares for her students!"
-Sarah, parent

"Kaylee is such a great teacher. My daughter loves taking piano from her. I as a mom, love how she really teaches music as a whole using the piano. She's experienced and kind. I highly recommend So La Mi Music!"
-Jessica, parent

"Thank you for your work on scales this summer. It totally paid off. I got first chair flute in concert band. I was the only one who could play two octaves."
